Premiile Locus 2013

Locus 1Locus 2Locus 3S-au anunţat câştigătorii Premiilor Locus 2013. Sunt mulţumit de câştigătorii pentru cel mai bun roman YA (Railsea de China Mieville), debut (Throne of the Crescent Moon de Saladin Ahmed), cea mai bună nuveletă (The Girl-Thing Who Went Out for Sushi de Pat Cadigan) şi cea mai bună antologie (Edge of Enfinity editată de Jonathan Strahan), dar cred că existau cărţi mult mai bune decât cele care au câştigat cel mai bun roman science-fiction şi fantasy. Istoria ne arată însă că în 90% din cazuri câştigătorul premiului Hugo pentru cel mai bun roman se regăseşte printre câştigătorii celor 4 premii Locus pentru roman. Dintre cele 4 care au câştigat anul acesta, doar Redshirts şi Throne of the Crescent Moon au fost nominalizate şi la Hugo, deci sunt şanse mari ca una dintre acestea să câştige şi la World  Con. Aş vrea să mai remarc şi anul excepţional pe care l-au avut colecţiile de povestiri.

    Mie personal mi-a placut mai mult Caliban’s War desi nici Redshirts nu e departe ….

  2. Dansul Dragonilor , apărut la editura Nemira în format hardcover şi în curând şi softcover, a fost votat cel mai bun roman. Este cel de-al cincelea volum al celebrei serii “ Cântec de Gheaţă şi Foc “, pe care o puteţi cumpăra cu o reducere de 50%!
